Hey famjam, sorry I've been MIA but it's been a busy month and March doesn't look to be any less busy!

So while I don't have much to say, I will leave you with a process video of the latest project I did for Experience Design. We began to dabble in Arduino boards and coding in Processing and I ended up using an infrared IR rangefinding sensor to sense motion and range and cause sounds to happen. Check it out!! :)

  1. I don't fully understand it, but it looks pretty sweet. Slick design and you guys seemed to have fun with it even though I'm sure you were completely sleep deprived!

  2. Depending where you drop the balls, different drum/symbol sounds go off like you would have in a normal drum kit. It's essentially just an unconventional way of playing an instrument (except with added randomness because you have way less control)
